Unimotor, a Four Seasons company and a division of Standard Motor Products, Inc., is located in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada specializing in the manufacture of the highest quality blower motors, cooling fan motors and condenser fan motors for the original equipment and original equipment service channels, the traditional as well as non-traditional markets including marine, RV, military, and heavy equipment.

SMP Unimotor is a self-contained business unit with a highly trained workforce offering design, engineering and complete manufacturing support. Design capabilities include 3D modeling, airflow performance and electrical magnetic interference testing.

This skill set allows Unimotor to develop new model design and solve customers' unique application problems. All products at the Unimotor facility are 100% tested in a sound booth for functional performance and operational noise before they are permitted to ship. Every stage of product development and manufacture is subject to extensive quality control inspections to ensure all engineering and quality requirements are met. To this end, to ensure a superior quality and cost-effective product Unimotor is registered ISO/TS16949 and has implemented a QOS (quality operating system) committed to continuous improvement of all business processes.

Throughout the Unimotor facility, a conscientious effort is made to recycle fluids, metals and all other reusable materials. A dedicated facility-wide collection program is in place to accumulate all manufacturing and non-manufacturing waste and reusable materials efficiently. Unimotor recycles more than eighty percent of all waste generated.

Waste and energy reduction plans are an important part of Unimotor's continuous improvement plan. This is evidenced by the ISO 14001 environmental standard certification. Even office paper and hand washing paper towels are made of 100% recycled paper product.
