Standard Motor Products, Inc., Engine Management de Mexico division, is located in Reynosa, MX and is dedicated to manufacturing the highest quality auto parts in this modern facility. These products are distributed to the original equipment and original equipment service market channels as well as traditional, industrial, marine and heavy-duty markets.

At our SMP Reynosa plant we manufacture a wide variety of automotive electronics and electromechanical components, camshaft and crankshaft sensors, distributor caps and rotors, oil pressure senders, and many other ignition components.

SMP Engine Management de Mexico and Standard Motor Products, Inc. bring quality and integrity to the market through every product offering. Every product undergoes a comprehensive testing regimen including extensive computer-controlled tests supported by thorough visual inspections.

Throughout our Reynosa engine management plant, we make a concerted effort to recycle metals, plastics and any other reusable materials. Here at SMP Engine Management de Mexico all injection molding plastic by-products are ground up and fed proportionately back into the molding process. Copper, brass and other recyclable materials, such as corrugated materials, are separated and collected for recycling.
